Being part of the crew, sailing a 70ft ocean going vessel, opens up a world of adventure, of teamwork, of responsibility, of learning, of self confidence and fun. We empower and support young people to succeed.
Why?
There is universal recognition that engaging young people on extended and challenging sailing voyages provides an opportunity to develop valuable life skills that they might not otherwise have the chance to experience.

on 8th June 2010, Lord Rank sank off Carrickmannon rock off Kin bane
Head, N. Ireland. All Crew and staff are safely ashore and a full
investigation is underway. OYTI would like to thank the RNLI and the
Coastguard for their assistance and al of you for your patience and
support at this time
